Weekly Watch Focus: Come Holy Spirit

FRIDAY, September 16, 2011.According to the pattern in Joel, we are giving days to fast and cry out between the porch and the altar that the Lord will restore our land. The answer lies in a mighty revival across our nation resulting in awakening that touches every realm of our lives so that we and our children can take back the land. May the Church be renewed and may we and our children reclaim the seven mountains: Religion, Government, Family, Education, Business, Media, Arts. We bind the spirits of antichrist and witchcraft that are corrupting our culture, our values and our politics. We aggressively plead the blood of Jesus over ourselves, our families, our churches and our cities. Let us thank God for the strength and outpouring He has given us in the past, knowing that God can once again pour out renewal.

Major changes have taken place in the last few months in the Middle East. Egypt, that had for decades maintained a tense peace with Israel, is once again being stirred with hatred toward Israel by the rise of the Moslem Brotherhood. This week, the Israeli Embassy in Cairo was taken over and ransacked by uncontrolled mobs in Egypt. Hatred for Israel is now at an acute level. Turkey, that for many years has also been at peace with Israel, is now ready for conflict. It is possible that in the near future major war may break out against Israel by all her enemies that surround her.

During this fast we cry out to God to bless Israel and to protect her people and her borders. May God’s warring angels be released to defend every corner of Israel as well as her citizens at home and abroad. Cry out also that in the season of turmoil, God, in His mercy, will pour out His Spirit in the Middle East, from Iran and Iraq to Egypt and Turkey and all the neighbors of Israel. May they experience a mighty visitation of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:1-2, “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord[a] in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.”

Psalms 85:6, “ Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?”

Ps. 122:6,7, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.’”

Gen. 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you.”

Isaiah 19:19-25, “In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord at its border. And it will be for a sign and for a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the Lord because of the oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will deliver them. Then the Lord will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the Lord in that day, and will make sacrifice and offering; yes, they will make a vow to the Lord and perform it. And the Lord will strike Egypt, He will strike and heal it; they will return to the Lord, and He will be entreated by them and heal them. In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian will come into Egypt and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians will serve with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria—a blessing in the midst of the land, whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, ‘Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance’" (emphasis added).
