Weekly Watch Focus: Purim—Deliverance of God’s People

FRIDAY, March 9, 2012. This week, Jews around the world celebrated the great deliverance God brought for His people in the time of Esther (Esther 9). The same murderous spirit of Haman that sought to extinguish all of God's people in the Bible is active today. Iran's nuclear program and threats to destroy Israel are a global concern that is escalating daily. This is not a time to shrink back, but to be like Esther in prayer, fasting, and intercession for God's people. Bind back the spirit of Haman and antichrist. Bless Israel and her leaders. Pray that America will always be true friends of Israel and an undivided Jerusalem. Let us rejoice in the mighty God who is more than able to deliver and protect His people.

Esther 4:14, “For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Gen 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
