Weekly Watch Focus: Elections, November 8

Friday, September 2, 2016—1 Timothy 2 instructs us to pray first of all “for kings and all who are in authority.” Seek God’s face on behalf of our nation. Powers of darkness have tried to tear out our godly roots through the halls of our governing officials. Pray that He will give us a president that is of His choice. Pray that people who boldly stand for our Judeo-Christian values and the heritage of our nation’s founders will be elected to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. Pray that God would raise up the righteous and pull down the wicked at every level of our government from the national and state levels all the way down to our local school board members. Our heart is to raise up the leaders of God’s choosing that would be pleasing to Him. May all who believe for restoration of our godly foundations turn out to vote in these elections.

Let us bind back demonic forces of antichrist, witchcraft, and godless ideologies over our nation. May God give us leaders in both houses of Congress who will honor our Judeo-Christian foundations, bringing us back to financial stability, give us righteous judges, and support genuine alliance with Israel. Pray for every state in the Union to be covered in these elections, binding fraud. Cry out for God’s mercy on our nation this Nov. 8, proclaiming, “May God Arise, and His enemies be scattered.”

Lord, give us leaders such that it would be to Your glory to give us the victory through them.

I Tim. 2:1-4, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Matt. 18:18-20, “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Ps. 75:7, “But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another.”

Ex. 18:21, “Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.”

Prov. 22:28, “Do not remove the ancient landmark which your fathers have set.”

2 Chron. 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

2 Chron. 20:15, “Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
