Weekly Watch Focus: CHRIST IS RISEN—Declare to the Nations!

FRIDAY, March 29, 2013 This Easter, let us take fresh inspiration from the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has defeated principalities and powers and been given the Name above every name. In an hour of great persecution of Christians in Islamic nations and vilification of our Christian values by our own cultural elite, may the Holy Spirit anoint us to usher in revival for America and the nations. May His Resurrection glory shine over our homes, families, churches, and cities, binding back the defeated powers of the evil one. May our lives and our churches be radiant with joy, hope, and victory, impacting lives all around us.

Matt 28:6, “He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

Matt 16:21 “From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.”

Mark 16:6 “But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.”

Acts 2:24, “[Jesus,] whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.”

2 Tim. 2:8 (RSV), “Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, descended from David, as preached in my gospel.”
