Weekly Watch Focus: Medical Care in the U.S.

FRIDAY, Nov. 8, Millions of Americans are losing their medical insurance as a result of the new Affordable Care Act. Many who are losing coverage have serious illnesses. Despite its good intentions, the A.C.A. seems to have created massive confusion across the nation. Pray for all those losing coverage who have serious medical needs. Pray for godly wisdom to guide our leaders so a Biblical solution may be found. Pray for doctors affected by these changes. In this hour, let us exalt the name of the Great Physician, Jehovah Rophe, the Lord our Healer and thank Him for caring for us.

Ex 15:26, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

Ps 107:19-21, “Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!”

Ps. 111:10, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.”

Is. 53:4-5, Ps. 103:2-4, Mt. 9:35, 1 Pet. 2:24, Prov. 4:6-7, Prov. 15:24, Jas. 1:5
