Weekly Watch Focus: 2014—Year of the Open Doors

FRIDAY, Dec. 27, 2013, God’s prophetic promise for us this year is from Isaiah 45 — He releases the promise for His people that He will open the double doors, that gates will not be shut, that He goes before us, making the crooked places straight, and He will break satanic resistance to our blessings. Let us pray that 2014 will be the year of open doors for us, our families, and for His Church. This is the year of productivity and effectual work for this Kingdom, confirmed with powerful signs and wonders. Let us plead the blood of Jesus as we enter the New Year. In His name, break the chains of sickness, poverty, and generational curses. For us, our children, and the Church, let new doors of opportunity and favor open. Release forgiveness for past hurts and disappointments, and walk through the doors God opens in the coming year with praise and thanksgiving. Come, Holy Spirit. Anoint us for 2014.

Isaiah 45:1-3, “Thus says the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held—to subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut: ‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel.’”

Acts 16:26, “Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.”

Rev. 3:8, “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”

2 Cor. 2:12, “When I arrived in Troas to proclaim the Message of the Messiah, I found the place wide open: God had opened the door; all I had to do was walk through it” (TM).

Isaiah 22:22, “The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; so he shall open, and no one shall shut; and he shall shut, and no one shall open.”
