Weekly Watch Focus: Pray for Jobs

Friday, Jan 17, 2014 The latest economic reports indicate that more than 102 million Americans are without jobs, having risen by 10 million in the past few years. Pray for everyone who is seeking employment. Declare Open Doors for jobs and better jobs, new businesses opportunities, and anointed ideas for new industries and services that will create economic growth in our nation. Pray that God will break the yoke of poverty off of America, having mercy on our nation and restoring economic health and vigor to our economy. Bind back spirits of lack and poverty, depression and discouragement. Pray wisdom will guide leaders so excessive or onerous regulations will not hold back engines of production. May God give us men and women in every branch of government that will put us on paths of Biblical prosperity.

Ps. 37:25, “I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.”

Phil 4:19, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Deut. 8:7-14, 18 “ For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper. When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you. Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today, lest—when you have eaten and are full, and have built beautiful houses and dwell in them; and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; when your heart is lifted up, and you forget the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage… And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

Prov. 3:9-10, “Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.”
