Watch Focus: Speak Shalom Over Your City

Friday, Mar 13, In recent days we have seen many of our cities riddled with violence. Let us speak God’s shalom over our cities that are often impacted by groups, drug cartels, and massive increases in addiction and homelessness. Let us with purpose change the spiritual atmosphere over our cities by releasing praise and worship. Bind the demonic strongholds of addiction, violence, hopelessness, poverty, and racism. Pray for all those in authority from the mayor to every level of government. Put a shield over the law enforcement agencies, asking that each will be guided with courage and wisdom. Bind any terror attacks being planned. Welcome Holy Angels of God to guard every neighborhood. Pray also for every agency bringing relief to the poor and homeless. May the Holy Spirit bring revival to our cities.

Jer. 29:7, “And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace.”

Mal 4:5-6 "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”

Jer. 31:17, “There is hope in your future, says the Lord, that your children shall come back to their own border.”

Pray also for the peace of Jerusalem, God’s chosen city. May God guide the people of Israel to make the right choices in the upcoming elections. It is crucial that Israel has wise leaders at this time who will keep the nation safe.
