Weekly Watch Focus: Peace on the Korean Peninsula

FRIDAY, March 16, 2018—Last week, North Korean dictator, Kim Jung Un, requested a meeting with President Trump to discuss North Korea’s nuclear program. President Trump agreed to meet with the goal of achieving permanent denuclearization. For years, we have prayed for mercy and deliverance for the North Korean people who have suffered under an oppressive regime for more than fifty years. We believe this overture could be a sign of possible breakthrough. Let us pray that God will give peace and freedom to North Korea. Pray that He will speak to the heart of Kim Jung Un. We ask for wisdom and understanding for President Trump the U.S. and South Korean leaders who will be taking part in these peace negotiations. Let us push through in prayer a mighty deliverance for North Korea. May the seeds sown in the great revival in Pyongyang in generations past receive a resuscitating drink from heaven for a mighty harvest on the Korean peninsula.

Part II:
Pray for the families of the six people who lost their lives in the bridge collapse yesterday in Florida. Our hearts go out for their tragic loss. Pray also for the ten others who are injured. We pray for healing and a speedy recovery for each of these individuals. Pray for the officials who are still working to search the site for other victims. We pray for the God of all comfort to be there in their midst.
