Weekly Watch Focus: A Shield of Protection and Banner of Victory

JANUARY 24, 2020—Pray for all families and God’s corporate family—His Church. Put the blood line around our homes, our churches, our cities, and our nation. Cry out to God specifically on behalf of our children. Cancel out any plan of the enemy against God’s people. Put a special covering over our school systems. Break the yoke of generational curses, and release supernatural blessing for favor and increase. Declare over your house, “Jehovah Nissi, the Lord’s banner of victory, is over me and my house. The Lord has heard my petition and is sending help from the sanctuary.”
 
The word the Lord has given us for this year is Exodus 17 & Psalm 20. Prophesy the Lord’s banner of victory in every realm – for your children, in your marriages, finances, favor, influence, and harvest. Put a prayer covering over your church leadership. Pray for a flow of God’s supply for every financial need for your family. Pray for your church to be debt-free and overflowing with resources to extend the gospel of the Kingdom.
 

Part 2: A Hedge of Protection against Wuhan Corona Virus

Pray against the deadly strain of corona virus that has emerged in China in recent weeks. First discovered in the city of Wuhan, the virus has quickly spread through travelers across Asia and one case in the U.S. On Wednesday, January 22, Chinese authorities quarantined the entire city of Wuhan to try to limit the outbreak from becoming a world-wide epidemic. According to Exodus 12, as the blood of the Passover Lamb shielded the Israelites from destruction in Egypt, let the blood of Jesus Christ shield us from all forms of the Wuhan corona virus and infection. We pray that this virus stop in its tracks and die out. Put a bloodline around your nation and borders to keep this virus from spreading. Aggressively apply the Blood of the Lamb over all our households, that no plague can touch any member of our family. Release the healing power of Christ for all those that have been affected by this outbreak, especially in the epicenter of China. Pray covering for all the medical personnel that are assisting in caring for these patients.
