Watch Focus: Part One: Protection, Healing, and Restoration for our Children

Psalm 127:3-5, “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate.”
The actions of the world in the last two years have affected our young children most of all. The inability to see the faces, to make friends, to be with extended family, the constant mask wearing, the isolation, have all compounded to inhibit basic speech development, effect communication, and impact social skills, cause severe depression, impair physical health, and so much more. We pray for all the children affected by the challenge of the last two years. We cry out for their protection, healing, and restoration. We raise a shield of prayer over them through the Blood of Jesus. May there be a hedge of protection around the schools, colleges, or specific institutions our children attend. We appoint angels to watch over them, and serve notice to the enemy that he cannot have our children. Not one of our children will be touched by the kingdom of darkness. Not one of their freedoms will be in jeopardy. They will serve the Lord in liberty!
Acts 2:17, Joel 2:28-29, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.”
When God promises revival and restoration in the Bible, without fail, He includes our children and grandchildren in that promise. May the Son of righteousness rise with healing in His wings, healing our children from trauma, whether spiritual, emotional, or mental. We welcome a move of refreshing and revival for our children. We pray for our educational systems, from kindergarten to university, to experience transformation and revival. We declare that biblical values will undergird their teachers and administrators. We cover by name our children’s teachers, principals, and administrators, and pray also for all those being home-schooled, that the Lord would give wisdom and strength to families as they teach their children at home. Lord God, give our children protection, wisdom, and great success all year long.
Psalm 8:2, “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger.”
Isaiah 54:13 “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.”
Psalm 127:3, “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.”
Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Luke 18:16, “But Jesus called them to Him and said, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.’”

Part Two: Pray for Canada

In the last few weeks a movement of peaceful protests began among truckers in Canada advocating for an end to government mandates regarding covid-19. Many have been economically impacted severely by government measures over the last two years or have been forced out of jobs for refusing vaccinations. The Prime Minister had invoked an emergency powers act which is being exercised against Canadian’s who have been involved with these protests or shown support to them.
We ask for God’s guidance and protection to be over the Canadian people, specifically those who’ve participated in peaceful demonstrations for freedom. They are crying out for liberty. We pray that wisdom and peace fills the organizers and participants as well as the governing forces and law enforcement. We ask for the Lord’s mercy, deliverance, and blessing for our Canadian brothers and sisters. We spiritually bind “in chains and fetters” any evil power working through any actors or authorities that would harm the nation of Canada or rob her of her destiny in God, whether they be elected or unelected, government officials or bureaucracies, in Canada or here in the United States. God bless the truckers and God bless the Canadian people. Fill them with hope and supernatural wisdom from heaven.
Psalm 149, “Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints.”
1 Timothy 2:1-3, “First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be offered for everyone— for kings and all those in authority—so that we may lead tranquil and quiet lives in all godliness and dignity. This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Psalm 34:7, “The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.”
Isaiah 59:19, “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.”
Malachi 4:1-3, “’For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, and all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,’ Says the Lord of hosts, ‘That will leave them neither root nor branch. But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; And you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves. You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,’ Says the Lord of hosts.”
Isaiah 49:25, “But thus says the LORD: ‘Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children.’”
Acts 16:31, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Psalm 91:11, “For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.”
