Watch Focus - Law Enforcement

We thank God and pray for our law enforcement. We ask the Lord for their safety and guidance as the carry out their duties with integrity. We lift up our local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. May they have the trust of the American people. May they have godly wisdom and divine protection as they try to make the U.S. and its borders safe and secure. We pray protection for those who keep us from violence and for those working to stop drug trafficking. May any plans for corruption or misuse of power in our law enforcement at all levels be stopped. May law and order be restored, and may shalom come to our cities as we put a prayer shield over them.

1 Timothy 2:1-2, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.”

Psalm 91:11-13, “For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.  In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.  You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.”

Ephesians 6:12, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Jeremiah 29:7, “And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace.”

Lamentations 5:21, “Turn us back to You, O LORD, and we will be restored; renew our days as of old.”
