Weekly Watch Focus: Turmoil in Afghanistan

FRIDAY, March 16, 2012. The turmoil in Afghanistan has further intensified where thousands of American and allied soldiers have been battling the terrorist organizations of Al Qaeda and the Taliban for the last ten years.

Pray for God’s protection for our allied soldiers. May our leaders and President Karzai have wisdom in this hour so that our soldiers can finally come home. May God give peace to the Afghan people.

Ps. 91:4, 11, “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.”

Lev. 26:6 I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid. And I will remove harmful beasts from the land, and the sword shall not go through your land.
