Weekly Watch Focus: Open Heaven—Evangelism

FRIDAY, April 20, 2012. Pray for an open heaven over your city and nation. May the local church be re-energized and reinvigorated by a new spirit of evangelism. May the glory of God shine through His people in such a way that there will be grace for salvation of souls.

Deut. 28:10-12, “Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your and. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.”

Matthew 9:37-38, “Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. “Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.’”

Luke 19:10, “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

Acts 1:8, “but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

2 Corinthians 6:2, “For He says, ‘At the acceptable time I listened to you, And on the day of salvation I helped you’; behold, now is ‘the acceptable time,’ behold, now is ‘the day of salvation’”
