Weekly Watch Focus: National Elections

FRIDAY, July 20, 2012. These are some of the most important elections in the past 150 years. The outcome of this battle will impact the future of our nation and our children for generations. We pray the prayer that the Lord gave our spiritual father, Derek Prince, in one of the great battles of this past century:

Lord, give us leaders such that it would be to your glory to give us the victory through them.

We pray for the leaders our nation chooses to honor our Judeo-Christian foundations, defend our liberty, safeguard our freedom to worship the Lord Jesus Christ, and have godly wisdom for recovering our economy. We bind the spirit of antichrist, witchcraft and enchantment that have darkened the minds of many of our leaders, media, and citizens, and loose God’s angel armies to fight on behalf of the men and women God has anointed to lead our nation in this hour.

Ps. 75:10, “ All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.”

1 Tim. 2:1-2, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.”
