Weekly Watch Focus: Threat of Terror

FRIDAY, February 1, 2013 The terror organization Al Qaeda has promised new terror attacks on America, France, and the West. Pray that their plans to attack innocent civilians be exposed and nullified. Pray for the allied forces trying to defeat Al Qaeda forces in Mali and North Africa.

Ps. 27:2-5, When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident. One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

Secondary Watch Focus:
Spread of Flu – Continue to pray against the flu epidemic. Many regions in America have been affected. Pray that the spread of this virus be stopped.

Numbers 16:46-48, “So Moses said to Aaron, ‘Take a censer and put fire in it from the altar, put incense on it, and take it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from the Lord. The plague has begun.’ Then Aaron took it as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and already the plague had begun among the people. So he put in the incense and made atonement for the people. And he stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped.”

Ex 15:26 “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”
