Weekly Watch Focus: Passover Blessings

FRIDAY, March 22, 2013 In this season, as the Jews celebrate Passover, we sense an open heaven to behold the Passover Lamb and welcome His blessing over our families, over our children, and the Church. We pray that salvation, deliverance, healing, and prosperity will come through the Lamb for every nation, every tribe, and every language through Christ our Passover. Christians owe a great debt of gratitude to the Jewish people for their faithfulness to God’s word. Pray a special blessing of protection and peace for Israel and specifically Jerusalem. May Jerusalem remain the undivided capital of Israel. Let us pray that we and all our children come into the full blessing of the Lamb of God who is worthy of all our worship. May He release the cloudy pillar of His presence over all believing communities.

1 Cor. 5:7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.

Ex. 12:3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: ‘On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.

Ps. 105:37 He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes.
