Weekly Watch Focus: We Speak Favor

FRIDAY, Aug 9, 2013, We are asking for the favor of God to rest upon His people through Jesus Christ. May His favor be as a shield over us and our children. We welcome His presence over our children as it was over Joseph, making them prosper in every place and in every situation. May the favor of God give daily increase for our churches and mission endeavors. As Nehemiah and Esther found favor with the king, we pray for the favor of the King of Glory. As God continued to pour favor on Ruth, may He pour favor on His believing Church.

Gen. 39:21, “But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.”

Lk. 1:28, “And having come in, the angel said to her, ‘Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!’”

Ps. 5:12, “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield.”

Eph. 3:20, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us”

Prov. 11:27, “He who earnestly seeks good finds favor, but trouble will come to him who seeks evil.”

Esth. 2:17, “The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.”

Ps. 35:27, “Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually, ‘Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.’”

Ruth 2:1-2, Prov. 5:12, Ps. 68:19, 1 Chron. 4:9-11
