Weekly Watch Focus: Cry Out for Great Awakening

Friday, Sept 13, 2013, As all Israel honors the Day of Atonement, we continue to seek the Lord in fasting and repentance. We cry out for personal revival and refreshing, and a national Great Awakening. We ask for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on this nation such as we have never experienced before. We recall the revivals with Whitefield, Finney, and Azusa Street, and cry out, “Do it again, Lord!” May we have an open heaven lasting decades. May all our family members come to salvation, may captives be set free as God confirms His word with awesome signs and wonders.

Joel 2:28-29, “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.  And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

Ps. 90:16, “Let us see your miracles again; let our children see your glory at work.”

Is 64:1-2, “Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down! That the mountains might shake at Your presence— As fire burns brushwood, as fire causes water to boil—to make Your name known to Your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Your presence!”

Ex. 33:15-16, “Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.”
