Weekly Watch Focus: Week 5—Revival for our Children
Friday, Feb.21, 2014, When God promises revival and restoration in the Bible, without fail, He includes our children and grandchildren in that promise. Let us cry out for the youth and children of this generation. Know that the devil would love to claim them as his. Bind back the forces that reject Judeo-Christian values in our culture, music, and educational systems. Let the enemy know that he cannot have our children, they will serve the Lord. May the youth and children be filled with the Holy Spirit, loving the word and honoring their parents. Claim the children by name. We put a shield of protection over them through the Blood of Jesus. May the Lord shield them from gangs and drugs. Appoint angels to watch over them. May there be a children's revival in every church. Pray for the school teachers and home-schooling parents to have godly guidance as they shape the next generation.
Acts 2:17,Joel 2:28-29, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.”
Is. 59:19, “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.”
Is. 60:4, Ps 127:3-5, Is 53:13, Deut. 6:6-7
