Weekly Watch Focus: Easter—Celebrate the Resurrection!

FRIDAY, April 18, 2014, Let us make this a special Easter celebration, turning our focus fully on the Resurrected Savior, Jesus Christ. Hallelujah—He is Risen!
At Calvary, Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God, paid the price for the total and permanent remission of the sins of humanity. By His death, burial, and resurrection He has conquered death and hell for each of us and our children. Now whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Let us therefore bow down and worship Him, thanking and praising His glorious name.

Let us pray for the power of God that exploded in the tomb, resurrecting our Savior, flood our hearts afresh. May any deadness, doubt, discouragement, and darkness flee from us and the Church. May the mighty Spirit of God fill us with Resurrection Glory.

We proclaim: “He is Risen! He is Risen indeed!” We pray the Spirit of God refresh us so we may spread this good news with signs and wonders. Now and always we can never praise and thank Him enough!

Matt 28:1-6, “Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. But the angel answered and said to the women, ‘EasDo not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.’”

Phil 3:10 (AMP), “I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.”

Rom. 1:1-4, “Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.”

Rom. 10:13,” For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Mark 16:1-6; Acts 17:54-5; Luke 24:1-6; John 20:1-20; 1 Cor. 15:3-8
