Weekly Watch Focus: Prayer Shield Over our Armed Forces and their Families

Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 The radical Islamic terrorist army called ISIS has issued a specific threat over US soldiers and their families to "slaughter them" even in their homes in the US. Put a prayer-hedge of protection over our armed forces and also over all their families and homes. Pray that any terrorist plan will be exposed and will fail. Also pray for our soldiers sent to West Africa to help stop the spread of Ebola plague. Pray for their safety from this dread disease. Pray God's mercy will stop the spread of the Ebola plague that is devastating these West-African nations. We cry out that the atoning work of Christ will eradicate this plague.

Pray for our wonderful neighbor and ally, Canada, as they went through recent terror attacks. Pray for their leader, Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and the law enforcement forces, that they would be able to prevent further Islamic Terror attacks. Also pray for the law enforcement and agencies in other allied countries, that they will be able to prevent further attacks planned by Islamic terrorists.

Num. 16:46-50, “So Moses said to Aaron, ‘Take a censer and put fire in it from the altar, put incense on it, and take it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from the Lord. The plague has begun.’ Then Aaron took it as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and already the plague had begun among the people. So he put in the incense and made atonement for the people. And he stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped. Now those who died in the plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred, besides those who died in the Korah incident. So Aaron returned to Moses at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, for the plague had stopped."

Rev. 12:11, "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death."

Exod. 12:3, "Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: ‘On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household."

2 Chron. 20:9, "If disaster comes upon us—sword, judgment, pestilence, or famine—we will stand before this temple and in Your presence (for Your name is in this temple), and cry out to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save."
