Weekly Watch Focus: The Shofar of Intercession

FRIDAY, Nov. 14, 2014, We sense the Spirit of God sounding forth a shofar, calling forth God’s people for intercession, praise, and worship in this hour. This is a strategic hour for watchmen to rise up in every city and church and take their place on the walls of intercession and bind the strongman over their region and nation. Pray over your churches and families. This is a sensitive time of transition following the recent major elections in our nation. It is not a time to lie back, but to watch and pray. Let us also be committed to watch over Israel. Pray for protection and favor over our children. Cover with prayer pastors, watch captains, and missionaries. May authority and favor cover our churches.

Mark 13:37, And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”

Is. 60:1,2, “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.”

Mark 16:15-18; Matt 28:18-20, "And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’"

Is. 52:8, “Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, with their voices they shall sing together; for they shall see eye to eye when the Lord brings back Zion.”

Is 66:6-7, “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, And give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”

Ez. 22:30  “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land… “
