Watch Focus: Persecution of Christians

There has been a tremendous increase in the persecution of Christians across the world in recent days. This increase is notable especially in the Middle East and Africa, where many Christians have been martyred and churches burned. The U.S. Government and other Western leaders have remained nearly silent as this religious cleansing of Christians continues in the Islamic world. Please pray for our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters. Pray for angelic protection as they flee from this persecution. Pray for the thousands of displaced Christians and other ethnic groups sheltering in refugee camps. Pray for those who give assistance and care in these refugee centers. Pray that once again God will restore their lands.
Heb. 13:2, "Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels."
Zach 7:9, "Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Execute true justice, show mercy and compassion everyone to his brother.'"
Deut. 10:18-19, "He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing. Therefore love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt."
Isa. 1:17, "Learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow."
Ps. 10:14; Luke 1:52-53; Luke 10:25-37
