Watch Focus: Bless the Church on Her Birthday

May 30, 2015, The outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost resulted in the glorious birth of the Church of Jesus Christ. Let us bless the Lord’s Church and uphold her in prayer on her birthday. In some key Middle Eastern nations, many Church communities in existence since the first century have been wiped out and her thousands of members scattered across the earth. The Church, even in America, is undergoing great pressure and subtle persecutions, specifically for her held values on abortion and same-sex marriages. Christ laid down His life for His Church and holds her dear to His heart, therefore, bless your local church and the believing churches in your city: Cover your senior pastors, leadership team, and staff and their families in prayer. Bind the demonic forces that would weaken the Church local and universal—specifically binding spirits of antichrist, witchcraft, division, strife, discouragement, and political correctness. Pray refreshing for leaders and mighty revival for all their churches. Lift up a prayer shield over your local church and claim that it will be blessed with supernatural increase and become debt-free. May the Church experience a mighty infilling of the Holy Spirit, a continuous flow of souls saved, and daily signs, wonders, and miracles. May the Church triumph mightily against the gates of hell.

Matt 16:18, “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”

Acts 2:46-47, “So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church[a] daily those who were being saved.”

Eph 5:25-27, “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.”

Acts 4:29-33, “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.”

Acts 9:31, “Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.”

Job 8:7, “Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.”
