Watch Focus: Pray for our Police and Law Enforcement

Friday, Aug 28, 2015 We have ongoing reports of police being shot while carrying out their regular duties. Please pray for all law enforcement forces trying to keep us safe while we go about with our lives. Without proper law and order, our societies devolve into anarchy, chaos, and violence. Put a prayer shield over each of our cities. Pray for all our police forces and their families. Let us remember the families of those police officers who have been killed or injured in the line of duty. At the same time, pray for those helping solve and heal the root causes of violence, broken homes, drug and human trafficking, and addiction in our cities. Pray for healing of the breakdown of relationships between police and many of our inner-city youth.

Ps. 91: 4, 11, “He will cover you with His pinions,  and under His wings you will find refuge;  His faithfulness is a shield and buckler… For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”

Ps 27:1-5, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?  The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?. When evildoers assail me  to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes,  it is they who stumble and fall. Though an army encamp against me,  my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet] I will be confident. One thing have I asked of the Lord,  that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord    all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple. For He will hide me in His shelter in the day of trouble; He will conceal me under the cover of His tent; He will lift me high upon a rock.”

Eph. 6:12, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Jeremiah 29:7, “And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace.”
