Watch Focus: Appeal to Heaven
 
Friday, OCT 30, 2015 Make an appeal to the King of Kings on behalf of our family, church, city, and nation. Intercede for the suffering Christians in the areas torn apart by ISIS in the Middle East. Cry out for restoration in the places where Satan has stolen from God’s people.
 
Recall the story of the Shunammite woman who showed kindness to Elisha, the prophet of God. When her house and land were taken in a time of famine, she “returned from the land of the Philistines and she went out to appeal to the king for her house and land.”  The king commanded, “Restore all that was hers and all the produce of the field from the day that she left the land until now.” Show kindness as the Shunammite showed to Elisha. We make an appeal in the spirit of the Shunammite.
 
King of Glory, send a wave of Your mighty Spirit to bring full restoration for families and churches, and all places that the thief has come to steal and rob from Your people.
 
Joel 2:25,26, ““So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame.”

Acts 3:19-21, “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.”
 
2 Kings 8:3-6, “It came to pass, at the end of seven years, that the woman returned from the land of the Philistines; and she went to make an appeal to the king for her house and for her land. Then the king talked with Gehazi, the servant of the man of God, saying, ‘Tell me, please all the great things Elisha has done.’ Now it happened, as he was telling the king how he had restored the dead to life, that there was the woman whose son he had restored to life, appealing to the king for her house and for her land. And Gahazi said, ‘My lord, O king, this is the woman and this is her son whom Elisha restored to life.’ And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed a certain officer for her, saying, ‘Restore all that was hers, and all the proceeds of the field from the day that she left the land until now.’”
