Weekly Watch Focus: Pray for Our Armed Forces and Law Enforcement

Friday, Nov. 27, At this time of the year, our hearts turn to Christmas, to family and friends gathering around meals, fellowship, and giving gifts around the Christmas tree. In this season, let us remember our armed forces, many serving far from home. Let us lift them and their families up in prayer. Also cover all members of law enforcement whose duty it is to keep us safe.

In view of the terror attacks in Paris and the many threats of terror against America, pray for all agencies co-operating to keep us safe. Bind the demonic powers energized by the Islamic State. Pray success for the nations trying to defeat this evil organization that delights in perpetuating cruelties not seen for many centuries. Pray that God will reveal the plans of terror attacks before they take place.

Pray for special protection for the Jewish people in Europe and for Israel.

Ps. 91:11, “For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.”

Ps. 27:1, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?  The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Eph. 6:12, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
