Weekly Watch Focus: Bless Israel and the Church

Friday, February 12, 2016, God has promised in His word the restoration of His two covenant people: Israel and the Church. At the same time, satanic forces do all they can to resist this process of restoration. During this last week of our 40 Days of Restoration Fast, pray for God’s continued grace, favor, and blessing for Israel and the Church.

As believers in Christ, rise up to bless Israel in all ways possible. Voice aloud our opposition to every form of anti-Semitism. We have seen an alarming rise of anti-Semitism in Europe and even areas in America. Our government in Washington has shown their opposition to helping Israel in her security concerns.

Pray that America commit always to bless Israel and pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Ask the Lord to give us leaders in the coming elections who will clearly support Israel and who will stand by her to defend her from her enemies. The Bible promises that God will bless those who bless Israel (Gen. 12:3). Those who curse Israel, will suffer God’s curse. We pray that that our nation will always support Israel’s right for an undivided Jerusalem as her capital (Ps. 122:6).

Pray for wisdom for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and for continued strength and victory for the Israeli Defense Forces. Put a supernatural shield over the land. We declare defeat to Israel’s enemies and confusion on every plot to harm her people.

We also cover the Church of Jesus Christ in prayer and blessing. In the Middle-East, pray for the complete destruction of ISIS. Pray for the churches in this region where the terrorist forces continue to massacre thousands of Christians and other ethnic groups, and are destroying churches and communities that have been in existence for nearly 2,000 years.
Pray for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit on every local church. Intercede for our pastors, leaders, staff and their families. We proclaim favor with God and men, physical health, increased anointing, and abundant financial provision. Pray for increase, that churches become debt-free and have an abundance of provision to reach the nations with the Gospel of Christ. Bind back spirits of anti-Christ and witchcraft. Cry out for God’s Church to arise and shine with His Glory!

Gen. 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Isa. 62:6-7, “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”

Isa. 60:1-4, “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your eyes all around, and see: they all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side.”

Matt 16:18, “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
