Weekly Watch Focus: God Protect our Cities from Jihadi Terror
April 1, 2016—Only a few months ago, Bonnie and I were in the Brussels airport near the very spot by American Airlines where ISIS, jihadi terrorists set off bomb blasts that killed 34 people and wounded hundreds more. ISIS terrorists have threatened to enact similar attacks in America and across Europe in the near future.
Pray for a supernatural shield of protection over our cities. Appoint angels to protect our schools, airports, malls, sports arenas, and other public gathering places. Bind the murderous demonic spirit of radical Islamic jihadism that inspires these terrorists world-wide. Many nations, including Israel, India, and Nigeria, face these attacks regularly.
Pray also for a wise answer to stem the tide of refugees from Islamic nations that let in potential terrorists. May peace return to the Middle East and Northern Africa to help stop the flood of migration.
Pray that Western societies will break the yokes of political correctness that stifle the free exchange of intelligence and information. Pray for a special protection for our children.
Ask that God will expose the plans of these jihadi terrorists to law enforcement agencies before they occur. Pray for the terrorist ISIS army to be totally defeated and ousted from the territories they occupy in Syria and Iraq. Declare peace and restoration to these ancient Bible lands so their populations can return home.
