Weekly Watch Focus: Jehovah Rapha—Victory Over Cancer

Friday, April 29, 2016—As we honored Passover last Friday, the Lord’s presence strongly impressed upon me, “The Passover blessings belong to my people. The Passover Lamb has been sacrificed.” The word promises us in Exodus chapter 23, “So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from your midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days” (25, 26).
As the children applied the Blood of the Lamb on the doorposts and lintels of their house, the strong power of God was loosed across Egypt, delivering His people. “There was not one feeble among His tribes” (Ps. 105:37).

This is a season we need to strongly believe and release afresh in our midst the Passover blessings. When God brought His people out of Egypt, He revealed Himself to them as Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals you.

Today, we too have been delivered from bondage, and have healing from sickness and pain. We are entering a fresh season for the release of His Healing Glory. I sense we need to especially speak release from the bondage of cancer. Go to the Lord in praise and worship, thanking Him for His healing grace in our midst. Declare the yoke of cancer be lifted and broken by the Blood of the Lamb. Worship the mighty Savior, proclaiming “By His stripes, we are healed!” Release this word of blessing through the Passover Lamb over all those we know who specifically need this healing from cancer, or any other infirmity or sickness.

As the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of the Lord’s garment, she was made whole at the root of her sickness. Corporately touch the hem of His garment today on behalf of loved ones, neighbors, and all who are battling these attacks. Specifically, ask God to send a fresh wave of healing over His believing people, giving thanks for each of these healings.

Exod. 23:25, “So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.”

Exod. 15:26, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

Psalm 105: 37, “He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes.”
