Weekly Watch Focus: Revival for First Nations People

Friday, July 29, 2016—We believe one of the keys for our national awakening is revival among the First Nations People. In total there are 565 federally recognized tribes, among whom 47 percent live on the reservations. Many are battling the yokes of poverty, alcoholism, and depression. In fact, the suicide rate among the youth has reached epidemic proportions. Many among them have not been reached by the power of the gospel. Pray with us for a mighty move of God among the First Nations with signs, wonders, and miracles.

We are right now vitally involved in a First Nations outreach. Next week an apostolic team led by Dr. Bonnie Chavda will be serving a gathering of First Nations for a mighty Healing of the Nations rally led by apostles Ellson and Debra Bennett. Pray for and cover our team as they serve.

The Lord would have us honor the original host people of this nation. Pray for all the Native American tribes including the Navajo, Cherokee, Sioux, Chippewa, Choctaw, Apache, Pueblo Iroquois, Cree, and Blackfoot. Let us repent for the sins committed in past history by the federal government against many of the tribes. May the mighty wind of the Great Spirit of Christ blow away the clouds of depression and every ancient yoke be broken.

May the Lord heal the wound of the broken heart confession of Chief Crazy Horse, “I will fight no more forever.” Instead, may God restore the warrior spirit among the First Nations to battle the powers of darkness. May the Lord raise up a new generation of wind talkers among the tribal people who will prophesy to the wind, “These dry bones shall live!” (Ezek. 37:9). Release revival over the First Nations and bless them so they in turn they take their place to bless this nation.

Part II: Pray for Europe

Europe is facing almost daily terror attacks by radicalized Islamic terrorists. Last week Rev. Jacques Hamel, an eighty-six year old priest in St.-Etienne-du-Rouvray, was murdered by ISIS militants while he was conducting mass in his early morning service in his church. Please continue to pray for Western Europe. Bind terror. Loose angels and pray a hedge of protection over innocent civilians, Christian and Jewish communities, and public gatherings. Pray for law enforcement, intelligence services, and governmental leaders as they work to secure the safety of their citizens.

Matt. 4:15-16, “The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles:  The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.”

Ezek. 37:4, 10, “Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!’ ...So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.”

Rev. 5:9; Luke 4:18, Matt 28:19-20

Col. 2:15, "Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it."

Rom. 8:38-39, "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Rev. 12:11, "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death."

1 Timothy 2:1-4, "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

Ps. 91.
