Weekly Watch Focus: Pray for 2016 Presidential Elections
Friday, November 4, 2016—On November 8th, Americans will make a critical choice that will impact not only our lives but those of our children and grandchildren. Cry out to the Lord with fasting and intercession, asking the Lord for His mercy and grace. Pray that we will choose leaders such that He can pour out His blessing and healing on our land.
Pray for the choice of president and vice president who with integrity will choose Supreme Court Justices who honor the biblical values of the Founding Fathers. May these justices honor life, especially of the unborn. May they stand steadfast for traditional marriage and the family.
Let us thank God for the freedom to choose our leaders. Our freedom has come at a high cost over the 240 years since we set ourselves free in 1776.
Pray for a president and vice president, as well as Congress that would have wisdom to make changes that would put us on a path of great economic restoration so as to become a debt-free nation. May we have leaders who will be true friends of Israel and help destroy the evil of ISIS.
Let us encourage all fellow Christian believers to exercise their God-given freedom to vote. Pray that corruption in the highest levels of our government to be cleansed and integrity to be restored, so all may receive equal justice.
Above all, declare that our hope is not so much in presidents and princes, but in the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. Let us cover this election with the name of Jesus, pleading the efficacy of the blood of the Lamb. Bind back in Jesus’ name every spirit of witchcraft and anti-christ. Bind fraud. May the Lord give revival and restoration and heal our land. May God bless America on November 8th.

Ps. 75:7, “But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another.”
Prov. 8:15, “By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice.”
Isa. 9:6-7, “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”
