Weekly Watch Focus: Terror in Barcelona

Friday, August 18, 2017—Pray for Spain, where a terror attack on Thursday killed thirteen and injured more than a hundred. The radical Islamic terrorist army, ISIS, claimed responsibility. ISIS claims more attacks may be imminent. Please pray for Barcelona. Pray comfort for the families of those killed and healing for the many who were injured. Pray for the law enforcement agencies responsible to protect  the populace. Especially pray for those agencies in Europe, America, and allied nations in charge of keeping their nations safe from terrorists.

Part II: Continue to pray peace for Charlottesville, Virginia, and other cities affectec by violent clashes between right and left wing demonstrators that left one dead and many injured last week. On Wednesday, thousands turned up for a candlelit vigil with worship and prayer for peace. May the Lord bless the peacemakers and intercessors covering our nation. Holy Spirit, we pray, sweep across our nation, heal our wounds, and deliver us from division, anger, and violence. We speak shalom over our nation. Bind the spiritual forces of wickedness, hatred, and division. Pray wisdom for our national and local government officials and protection and guidance for police and law-enforcement.
