PrayforCAWildfires

We agree together corporately for the mercy of the Lord for Napa, Sonoma and Yuba counties, for the fires to cease, and for the safety and restoration of this region. Stand in the gap for Northern California and plead the blood of Jesus over this great state. Pray a hedge of protection for the people of California and bind back death and destruction. Pray for divine intervention to bring favorable weather to end one of the most destructive fires in the state’s history. At least 17 people have died, 1,500 structures have been destroyed and 6,000 acres scorched since high winds fanned wildfires into fast moving blazes that engulfed neighborhoods and farmlands with little to no warning. Pray for the safety and success of the fire-fighters as they bring the fires under control. Speak peace to the wind, and ask for the rains to come and quench these fires. We mourn with those who lost love ones in these tragic fires, praying comfort for all who have lost loved ones, homes, businesses, and properties. We ask for a quick recovery for the areas destroyed. We pray for healing for those who have been injured.

UPDATE: More than 8,000 firefighters are engaged in battling fierce wildfires throughout Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino counties. Charred rubble and clouds of smoke are all that are left of more than 191,000 acres that have been destroyed in the fires. At least 33 people are confirmed dead and hundreds more are missing. Pray for the thousands of men and women firefighters and rescue agencies as they stand on the front lines to bring the fires under control. Pray for strength, protection, and endurance. Pray for the Lord to give grace to stop the fires and a shift in weather to aid the firefighters. Pray for the thousands of evacuees. And continue to pray for the many who have lost their loved ones, their homes, and property.
