Weekly Watch Focus: Deliverance from Violent Gangs
FRIDAY, June 22, 2018— Our cities continue to be impacted by violent gangs such as MS-13, importing illegal drugs, instilling fear and control over neighborhoods through extreme violence and murder, and being a major force in human trafficking. They target middle and high school aged immigrants, ravaging our young people and spreading terrible acts of mayhem and murder in various U.S. cities. These demonic gangs is plaguing regions of our nation, especially Long Island, NY where there have been numerous murders of young people. MS-13 is rooted in nations like El Salvador and has effective networks across our nation spread from Los Angeles to New York. In 2017, targeting MS-13 was designated a priority by the Department of Justice’s Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force. Pray that American law enforcement will have the right strategies to break these gangs, apprehending the most violent gang members.
As watchmen, we are standing guard at the gates of our cities, binding the wicked spiritual forces behind MS-13, other gangs, and drug cartels. Agree for deliverance from demonic forces for those bound in the gang cultures and pray that members be set free and be filled with the love of the Father. Ask God for peace to reign in our cities. We pray for Mexico, that the Lord would give Mexico victory over the drug cartels. Pray for a secure border to stop the traffic of drugs and gangs across our borders. Pray specifically for our federal and local law enforcement that they have success and divine protection. Pray for divine protection over your city, and every large city and population center in our nation.
