Weekly Watch Focus: The Year of Increase—God Bless Israel, Jerusalem, and the Church

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2019—The Lord instructs us to “give Him no rest till He establishes Jerusalem as a praise in the earth” (Isaiah 62:7). He prospers the people and nation that love and pray for her (Psalm 122:6). Our spiritual heritage and prophetic destiny are joined to Jerusalem. We continue to give thanks for the United States’ official recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. As we pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem, let us also pray for an outpouring of glory in signs, wonders, and miracles for God’s other covenant people, His Church. We believe God is releasing open heavens for evangelism, demonstrating the power of the Gospel and delivering His people from darkness with signs and wonders. We pray for personal and family victory and a breaking of every generational curse on our family line. Lord, pour out Your Holy Spirit and renew the face of the earth in the greatest awakening this nation has ever seen.

 Part II: Pray for Venezuela

Economic collapse, starvation, and extreme violence have led to political crisis in Venezuela under the socialist government of Nicholas Maduro. This once wealthy nation with the largest oil reserves in the world is now on the brink of collapse. Recent elections that extended Maduro’s power for another six years were deemed illegitimate. Juan Guaido, leader of the Venezuela National Assembly, has stepped in as interim president until new elections are called. The United States, Canada, Israel, Brazil, and several other nations have recognized Guaido as the legitimate leader of Venezuela. The communist-socialist policies of Hugo Chavez and his successor Maduro have been a complete failure and any semblance of democracy is in shambles.

Please pray for the people of Venezuela. Pray for the total defeat of this oppressive regime. God, have mercy on this special land and restore freedom and prosperity. Bind back the Marxist philosophies ruling Venezuela. Lord, send revival and restoration for the people of Venezuela.

Ephesians 6:12 (AMP), “For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.”
