Weekly Watch Focus—Coronavirus Pandemic

Friday, March 27, 2020—We pray for mercy, and plead the blood of the Lamb over every nation suffering from this plague. We stand in the gap for the nations. Lord, stop the plague. We pray for senior citizens and those who are vulnerable to this virus. Lord, overshadow them with Your wings. Shelter them in this pandemic.

At the time of this writing, Congress is deliberating on details of a 2 trillion dollar stimulus bill designed to help millions of Americans and businesses get through the coronavirus shut down. Continue to pray for the President and congress as they work to bring practical aid to many who have lost jobs or are forced to shutter their businesses to prevent spread of the infection. Bind all powers and plans that would use this crisis for political means and special interest projects rather than the immediate health and economic well-being of Americans. Pray for bipartisan support and alliance with President Trump as he leads the nation. Pray for wisdom in setting policies that will turn the tide of the coronavirus outbreak and position America for a quick recovery on the other side of this storm. Pray for supernatural intervention on every avenue that influences the national and global stock markets.

Lord, we pray for breakthrough for researchers seeking treatments and vaccines for the coronavirus. We ask for divine help for researchers in Israel, Australia, France, the United States who look like they are on the verge of success.

We pray for protection for the President and his family, Vice President Pence and his family, and for their all their advisors and members of the task force. We lift up the coronavirus hotspots in New York, Washington State, California, Louisiana, and others. We pray for the surge to end and ask the Lord to bring shalom to these areas of rapid infection. We ask for God’s mercy to cover our nation, binding the virus in every state.

We cover all the doctors, nurses, and healthcare professional working at every level to treat those who are sick. Lord, pour out great grace and stamina for every health professionals, first responder, or law enforcement officer who is working in this time of great uncertainty and stress. Father, take away fear and anxiety from those who are on the frontlines of our nation’s response to this pandemic. We pray for protection and health for all those who are working tirelessly in strategic businesses, shipping companies, utilities, and manufacturing and supply chains providing essential services and supplies needed at this time of crisis.

At the beginning of this year, we felt quickened to have every family and watchman in our community to take anointing oil and anoint the doors of their house. In this Passover season, we encourage you to take oil and anoint the doorways of your house and appeal for the covering of the blood of Jesus over your loved ones, your children, and all your household. As we approach Passover season and Easter this year, exercise great faith in the power of the Lamb of God to deliver!

Raise the Shield! Wield the Sword! We are calling all watchmen to fast with us every Thursday until this pandemic has been stopped. You can find details here.

Psalm 91:2-3;11-15: “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence....For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.”

Numbers 16: 46-48, “So Moses said to Aaron, ‘Take a censer and put fire in it from the altar, put incense on it, and take it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from the Lord. The plague has begun.’ Then Aaron took it as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and already the plague had begun among the people. So he put in the incense and made atonement for the people. And he stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped.:
