Weekly Watch Focus: Christ is Risen! Let Easter Glory Shine

FRIDAY, April 10, 2020—Christ is risen; He is risen indeed! Proclaim the triumph and blessing of the risen Christ over our families, churches, cities, and the nations of the earth. We declare every knee will bow and every tongue will confess, “Jesus is Lord.” Pray His love, mercy, and anointing touch the nations with resurrection power. May His glory heal and deliver us from the coronavirus pandemic that has spread to 182 nations.

In the authority of the resurrected Christ, command the shadow of death to pass over our nation and the nations of the earth. Confidently proclaim fresh waves of glory to wash over the U.S. and the nations. Worship the Lord, thanking Him for the gift of His son. In this season, let us increase our praise and thanksgiving to the King of Glory.
Continue to plead the blood of our Passover Lamb over every nation, and put a hedge of protection over your loved ones and all those vulnerable to attack from the virus. Pray for supernatural protection for all the medical professionals on the front lines of this pandemic. Pray specifically for healing and recovery for British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Continue to lift up President Trump, Vice President Pence, and the entire Covid-19 task force working to navigate this crisis through to victory.

Before the attack of the virus, the U.S. economy was the fastest growing in the world. It has been devastated by the attack of the coronavirus. Pray that God would give us a miracle and an economic turnaround. We pray by the mercy of God that the U.S. economy would quickly recover and once again lead the globe in economic growth.

Revelation 1:5-8, “Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,’ says the Lord, ‘who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.’’’

2 Timothy 2:8, “Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel.”

Romans 8:11, “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”

Matthew 28:1-6, “Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. But the angel answered and said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.'”

Psalms 91:1-6, “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’ Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

Psalm 27:2-5, “When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident. One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.”
