Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem: The Lord is our Refuge and Our Fortress

As of today, more than 500 rockets have been fired over civilian areas of Israel in just the past week. May the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob protect His people, Israel. May He send forth His heavenly host to protect all Israelis and disrupt the plans of the terrorist Hamas forces. May Hamas be confused and destroyed. We pray no weapon formed against Israel shall prosper. May God give victory to the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) as they go into Gaza to clear out the Hamas terrorist forces. May angels protect innocent civilians from harm in both Israel and Gaza. May other nations pay heed to God’s word regarding Israel, “I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse Israel.” May America continue to be a stalwart supporter of Israel. May God confuse and pull down any plans of our leaders who would ally against Israel.

Pray that God’s wisdom guides Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and pray for protection and victory for the Israeli soldiers. The Lord who keeps watch over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. Pray peace returns to Israel and Gaza, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Exodus 15:16-18, “Fear and dread will fall on them; by the greatness of Your arm they will be as still as a stone, till Your people pass over, O Lord, till the people pass over whom You have purchased. You will bring them in and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, in the place, O Lord, which You have made for Your own dwelling, the sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established. ‘The Lord shall reign forever and ever.’”

Psalm 83:1-18, “Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God! For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, ‘Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no  more’… O my God, make them like the whirling dust, like the chaff before the wind! As the fire burns the woods, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire, so pursue them with Your tempest, and frighten them with Your storm. Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O Lord. Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; Yes, let them be put to shame and perish, that they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth.”

Jeremiah 32:21, “You have brought Your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, and with great terror.”

Psalm 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May they proper who love you. Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.'”

Isaiah 62:6-7, “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”

Recovery for America

“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.” Joel 2:25

This week, a cyberattack on the Colonial Pipeline led to a reduction of the gasoline supply, along with higher gasoline prices affecting residents in many regions of the United States. Lord, we seek after You, Jehovah Jireh. May the God who supplies all of our needs provide, defend, sustain, increase, and bless the American economy for the sake of furthering the gospel to every nation. Bless our land, and bless our storehouses. Lord, send awakening that America and the nations would come to know You!

Lord, we declare recovery to our gasoline pipelines in this nation. May everything that was stolen be restored, and in every place where the cankerworm and the palmerworm have eaten in our economy, Lord, bring restoration! We pray that gasoline prices would lower, and that business large and small would continue to recover from this gasoline shortage. We prophesy an open heaven in the area of finances. May there be no effects of this shortage for all of those in the workforce. We pray for there to be once again an abundant supply of jobs with many reentering the job market. We break any spirit of lack and delay holding back the blessings of economic growth and prosperity for our nation. Lord, expose any evildoers and plots of enemies seeking to do harm and create mischief and havoc and lift up a standard against them. May America be blessed and prosperous. And help us to spread the gospel of Jesus throughout the whole world.

Philippians 4:19, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Psalm 34:10, “The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.”

Deuteronomy 11:11-12, “But the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven, a land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.”

Joel 2:18, 23-24, “Then the Lord will be zealous for His land, and pity His people. Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God; for He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you—the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.”

We continue to cover our police and law enforcement in prayer throughout the month of May. We pray for revival for all law enforcement officers and ask for peace in every city. May a wave of evangelism and the anointing fill all of our precincts.

Psalm 91, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.’ Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day. Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra. The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him. And show him My salvation.”
