Feast of Tabernacles

We are in the season of the Feast of Tabernacles, a time of great joy for the Jewish people as they celebrate the harvest. We take this time to thank the Lord. We rejoice for the former and the latter rain, and rejoice in God’s covenant and the giving of His Word.

Through Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, we have this covenant written upon our hearts. We praise God that we live in the time of latter rain prophesied in Joel 2, “I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.”

Together we agree and ask for a global outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We welcome Your awakening, Lord God. As we step into the Feast of Tabernacles, we step into the invitation which Jesus stood and cried out on the last day of the feast, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

John 7:37-39, “On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’ But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.”

John 8:12, “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.’”

Isaiah 12:3, “Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation”

Psalm 1
Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,…

Proverbs 3:9-10, "Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."

Psalm 37:25, "I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging for bread."
