Give Thanks for the Turnaround

Joel 2:25-27, “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, . . . You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, . . .”

Give thanks for the turnaround.
We first thank our Lord Jesus for moving in the nations! Romans 8:28 tells us, “All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” We recognize the stirring of a great awakening throughout the nations. We pause to look and identify the points of turnaround that the Lord is leading. Look at the people who He has stirred up to renewed faith, look at the nations arising to affirm liberty, see the parents rising and recommitting to their children’s education and protection, see the strengthening of families in the face of cultural attacks, and observe the strengthening of communities who’ve been targeted for division and instead see how the Lord is bringing them together as one. Many who have been away from the church and from God for years are returning. The Lord is moving! He is faithful.

Command an economic blessing. As we see the Lord moving, we specifically ask again for financial and economic recovery. A global shipping and supply chain delay, coupled with growing inflation and poor economic leadership, is threatening to create a lack and hardship for America and the globe. Pray that God’s mercy will help strengthen the U.S. economy. We agree together now and REBUKE the devourer! Father God, we give You all the glory and thanksgiving for every season of abundance and prosperity. We claim Your abundant supply for our nation and for the church. Lord, bless Your people, bless Spirit-filled believers, so that we may live in an overflow that will help feed the poor and needy around the globe. Order and re-order our financial structures and institutions in Your wisdom. Bless our businesses and job markets. Teach us in Your ways. Take opportunity this week to sow a seed and claim a blessing for yourself, your family, and your church.

Philippians 4:19, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

2 Samuel 24:25, “And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel.”

Acts 4:29-30, “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”

Psalm 37:25, “I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.”

Proverbs 3:9-10, “Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.”

Mark 11:24, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Psalm 127:1, “Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.”

Joel 2:25-27, “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, . . . You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.”

Isaiah 2:3, “Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”

Psalm 34:10, “The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.”
