Weekly Fast Focus: Inflation

During this week of our corporate fast, we pray that God will heal our land economically. The inflation rate is at its highest for the first time in forty years. We agree that God, through His mercy, will end the growing inflation and recovery will begin. The economic strength in our nation in the past has helped us to be merciful to the poor across the earth and be a friend to Israel. Lord, we give You all the glory and thanksgiving for abundance and prosperity. We claim Your abundant supply for our nation and for the church. Protect our workforce, and save any job in danger. Pray for all families struggling with financial need. We declare that there will be a supply for them and their children.

Philippians 4:19, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Psalm 37:25, “I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.”

Joel 2:25-27, “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, . . . You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.”

Proverbs 3:9-10, “Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.”

Mark 11:24, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Psalm 127:1, “Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.”

Psalm 34:10, “The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.”

2 Samuel 24:25, “And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel.”

Acts 4:29-30, “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”
