Weekly Fast Focus: Global Revival and Awakening

The last few days, there has been an unusual phenomenon that people globally have taken notice. Thousands of people have taken part in the Truck Convoy that has brought the city of Ottawa to a standstill. Some news indicates that convoys are starting up in many other countries. There seems to be an awakening that can only be supernatural, and reminds us of God’s promise that in the last days, God will pour out His spirit on all flesh.
 
As we approach the final days of our forty day fast, we aggressively pray for the river of revival and awakening to come upon our nation and every nation of the world. May an open heaven be poured out in a greater measure than the awakenings and outpourings experienced in past generations. As we remember the moves of revival through George Whitefield, John Wesley, Charles Finney, and Azusa Street, we ask for fresh waves of the glory. Do it again, Lord!
 
Isaiah 64:1-2, “Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down! That the mountains might shake at Your presence—as fire burns brushwood, as fire causes water to boil—to make Your name known to Your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Your presence!”
 
Isaiah 58:6,10, “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday.”
 
Give us an open heaven over our churches, cities, and nations. May this awakening transform us at every level, including arts, education, economy, government, and media. We bind back every work of darkness that is placing people in bondage and destroying freedom. We declare, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty!” Holy Spirit, rest upon our cities, bringing fresh waves of healing and deliverance to all those bound by yokes of darkness. May the Church be empowered to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out devils, and minister to the people of the earth. We welcome a global revival in every continent turning billions of souls to Jesus Christ, and give the Lord praise in advance for Harvest Glory this year.
 
2 Chronicles 7:14; “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
 
Matthew 10:6-8, “… And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
 
Acts 10:38, “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”
 
Ezekiel 47:9, “And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live”
 
Joel 2:28-29, “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”
 
2 Corinthians 6:2, “For He says, ‘At the acceptable time I listened to you, And on the day of salvation I helped you’; behold, now is ‘the acceptable time,’ behold, now is ‘the day of salvation’”
 
Matthew 9:37-38, “Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. “Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.’”
