Watch Focus: God Bless America
On this 4th of July weekend, we thank God for America and for the freedoms and blessings we enjoy in this nation. We pray for God’s mercy and grace to fulfill our destiny and calling. As we welcome a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit, may Jubilee freedom ring in every corner of this land. May the Spirit of Revival be poured out over this nation to become the greatest beacon of liberty and good in the world. We thank God for the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and our wonderful constitution which was written by the Founding Fathers. May we honor the Lord and His precepts that inspired them. May we honor the Fathers, and may we honor the men and women of our armed forces who have and continue to defend our freedoms. Revive America in truth, holiness, and love for our Savior. We pray for our Judeo-Christian foundations to be restored. Raise up leaders who will lead our government with godly wisdom and courage to uphold these values. We declare restoration and recovery for our economy. May America continue to support and bless Israel. Lord God, shed Your grace on this precious land, and may we walk in the ways that will please the Lord.
Psalm 33:12 & 22, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance. Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, just as we hope in You.”
Leviticus 25:10, “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.”
2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
Jeremiah 6:16, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls.”
Habakkuk 2:14, “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”
