Watch Focus: Financial Recovery and Shalom

Pray for financial recovery from what many economists are calling a recession. We humbly pray for a healthy economy and that integrity would be restored in leadership. We plead the blood of Jesus and cry out for mercy for our children’s sake. We repent of the spirit of greed that has driven us over many years. May we choose wise and godly leaders in the upcoming elections, triggering a change in direction. Remove unwise, greedy, and corrupt leaders who do not walk according to God’s principles. Open up the windows of heaven and bless our nation with prosperity.

Let supernatural shalom reign in our cities. Restore us from rampant crime and the influence of corrupt drug cartels. Break every stronghold and heal our land. We welcome a fresh wave of deliverance to set individuals and regions free. May we have restoration in our nation and above all a great spiritual awakening.

Malachi 3:10-12, “’Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,’ says the LORD of hosts; ‘and all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land,’ says the LORD of hosts.”

Psalm 37:25, “I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.”

Psalm 34:10, “The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.”

Jeremiah 33:6, “Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.”

Peace in Ukraine

We pray for the restoration of peace in Ukraine where the war is ongoing. May this war come to an end. May the voices of the peacemakers, not voices of war, oppression, or corruption, guide Ukraine, Russia, and the nations. Lord, speak to the hearts of President Putin and President Zelenskyy. We ask for wisdom and understanding for all world leaders who are taking part in peace negotiations. Expose acts of injustice and hold perpetrators accountable. Remove every heart of stone towards You and Your laws, and give a heart of flesh. We pray for the restoration of freedom and for the return of refugees back to their homes without fear.

Ezekiel 36:26, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”

2 Samuel 22:3-4, “The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; my Savior, You save me from violence. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.”

Psalm 8:2, “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger.”

Flooding in Missouri and Kentucky

Missouri and Kentucky have experienced record floods this week. We pray for all those who were devastated by these powerful flood waters. We pray for those families who have suffered the loss of loved ones and homes. May the floods recede quickly so that rebuilding can begin. We remember and bless those involved in the rescue efforts.

Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”

Psalm 32:6-7, “For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely in a flood of great waters they shall not come near him. You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.”

Psalm 74:15-16, “You broke open the fountain and the flood; You dried up mighty rivers. The day is Yours, the night also is Yours; You have prepared the light and the sun.”
