Special Prayer Alert: Hurricane Ian—Rebuke the Storm in Jesus’ Name
Hurricane Ian is making landfall on the Gulf Coast of Florida as a dangerous category 4 storm. Stand in the gap for Florida, the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, and all those in Ian’s path. Rebuke Hurricane Ian in Jesus’ name. Speak shalom to the winds, and declare that the waters recede. Bind the destructive forces of this storm and put a hedge of protection over everyone in its path. Release angels to protect all of those in harm’s way. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered!
Psalm 46:1-3, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling.”
Mark 4:39, “And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, ‘Peace! Be still!’ And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”
Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you."
Psalm 29:10-11, “The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood, and the Lord sits as King forever. The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.”
