Watch Focus – The Lord is Our Shield! 21 Day Corporate Fast

“After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.’” Genesis 15:1

We are calling believers to a season of prayer and fasting, seeking the Lord afresh for ourselves, for our families, for our churches, and for our nation. We will begin a 21 day corporate fast on Monday, January 9th and continue through Monday, January 30th. During this first week, we humble ourselves, repent, and ask for the spirit of repentance, that we will turn from our wicked ways, and that God may send revival and heal our land according to His promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14.

We declare: “The Lord is our shield!” We pray for all families and God’s corporate family—His Church. We lift up a shield around our homes, our churches, our cities, and our nation. Stand in the gap with us. Bind back the powers of witchcraft, corruption, disease, violence, and chaos. Pray Shalom over our land. We exalt the blood of Jesus that deactivates the power of the devil. We cry out to God on behalf of our children. May any plan of the enemy against God’s people be canceled. We put a special covering over our school systems. Break the yoke of generational curses, and release supernatural blessing for favor and increase. Declare over your house, “We will not be afraid. The Lord is our shield and our exceedingly great reward!”

Psalm 33:20, “Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.”

Psalm 84:11, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”
Psalm 9:9-11, “Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.”

Mathew 16:18, “And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Isaiah 58:6,8, “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? …Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’”

2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
