40 Day Corporate Fast

January 12 to February 20

From the Watch in the first week of our corporate 40 day fast we pray the Gospel would run swiftly (2 Thessalonians 3:1) locally, nationally and internationally with great power (Acts 4:33). 

We pray laborers be sent by the Lord. The harvest is plentiful! (Matthew 9:37-38).

In America’s 250th birthday year we pray for a return to being a moral, genuinely religious people and a return to the Lord and our Judeo-Christian foundations (Hosea 6:1).

We take encouragement from history where America was founded on the Gospel and the Bible with the arrival of the Pilgrim Fathers with subsequent great awakenings. Europe was shaped in similar fashion beginning with Paul’s early Apostolic Missions into new territory. Churches Paul and his team planted still exist today!

We pray especially for America, Great Britain, Europe, Canada and Australia to be transformed afresh by the Holy Spirit according to John 16:8, “And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:”

We pray every aspect of culture is touched by God’s Fire and Wisdom on earth as it is in Heaven!

2 Thessalonians 3:1, “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you,”

Acts 4:33, “And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.”

Matthew 9:37-38, “Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Hosea 6:1, “Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up.”

Psalm 33:12, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.”

Proverbs 14:34, “Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.”

Revelation 22:2, “In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

Week 1

We pray the Gospel would run swiftly (2 Thessalonians 3:1) locally, nationally and internationally with great power (Acts 4:33). May laborers be sent by the Lord. The harvest is plentiful! (Matthew 9:37-38).

Week 2

We pray the doors would be closed to Islamic influence across America understanding Islam is the personification of the antichrist spirit and built on deception that God has no Son (1 John 4:3).

We declare America a terror free zone. We pray God would deliver us from all evil and hide us under His Shadow (Psalm 91:1).

Week 3

We pray for President Trump, his Administration, our Supreme Court, Congress, Statewide, Countywide and Citywide political leadership to be discerning and wise servants in whom is the Spirit of God (Genesis 41:33, 38-41). May God direct their hearts and minds in all affairs (Proverbs 21:1).

On May 20th we remember The Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence and pray for fresh blessing and visitation from the Holy Spirit.

Week 4

We pray the Church in America will be revived, restored and empowered afresh. May there be a fresh raising up and release of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers to teach and equip the Church for our times (Ephesians 4:11). We pray fresh covering and protection for Chavda Ministries team and staff.

We pray healing for Venezuela (Revelation 22:2). We pray for a restoration of peace and prosperity not a descent into chaos. We pray for Joseph-like leaders to be raised up and appointed (Genesis 41:33, 38-41) for such a time as this. We also pray for such leaders to be appointed in the Midterms and Primaries this year in America.

Week 5

We pray for a return to freedom for the people of Iran from the Islamic regime. May they be a righteous and free nation! We pray God would remove leaders and raise up wise, righteous and just leaders! (Daniel 2:21).

We pray persistently with faith for peace between Russia and Ukraine. May God cause this war to cease. (Psalm 46:9).

Week 6

May Israel see and have increasing revelation of their elder brother Yeshua, the Lord Jesus Christ! We pray for the peace of an undivided Jerusalem! May Israel be delivered from all it’s enemies!

We pray for gifts of healings and working of miracles to be present for our church family, families, friends and people in our spheres of influence! (1 Corinthians 12). We pray for supernatural breakthroughs to prayer requests we are receiving. Amen.

I will fast and pray on the following days:

There is not a need for you as an individual to fast a full twenty-one days. Feel free to participate in this fast at the level and intensity that is comfortable for you. You may do a partial fast, skip one meal a day on your fasting days, or a Daniel fast (fruits and vegetables). Ask the Lord how He would have you participate.
