Weekly Watch Focus: Christmas Glory—Release the Heavenly Knighthood

FRIDAY, December 23, 2011.
Pray that the light and the glory and the blessing of Christ Jesus shine bright, penetrating every dark corner. Ask that the angelic host, God’s heavenly knighthood, be released over our families, cities, and nation, encouraging believers everywhere, especially helping strengthen the poor and those battling infirmities.

Lk 2:9-14, AMP, “And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord flashed and shone all about them, and they were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people. For to you is born this day in the town of David a Savior, Who is Christ (the Messiah) the Lord! And this will be a sign for you [by which you will recognize Him]: you will find a Baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. Then suddenly there appeared with the angel an army of the troops of heaven (a heavenly knighthood), praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is well pleased.”

2 Kings 6:16-17 “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see. Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”
